Britannia Music Hall

Description: The recently rediscovered Britannia Music Hall - described as the finest surviving early music hall in the UK is a must see on the historic Trongate. Inside you can still feel the ghosts of the past; luminaries such as Stan Laurel, Harry Lauder and Jack Buchanan, Cary Grant as well as the distinctly un-PC 'Freaks Show' in the attic and a zoo in the basement. Still awaiting a future lifting of the curtain it may be visited by appointment or for special events.
