Jacobite Country
Presented by Dogstar Theatre
A new comedy by Henry Adam
Selling his soul and his Highland roots, Haggis McSporran has become a King of Comedy among the fleshpots of London. He returns to Scotland, uprooted, homogenised and clean out of drugs. Perhaps his old pal Craitur Face, Granny’s cancer cure and a visit to Craig Dunain Mental Hospital might help. Along the way, they meet the Loch Ness Monster and prevent Uncle Angus from invading England (again)….
Henry Adam’s scintillating new comedy from the Scottish Highlands sits on the edge of Europe - and sanity. With live music and tremendous craic, it’s directed by Matthew Zajac, Fringe First Winner and 2009 CATS Best Actor for The Tailor of Inverness.
