The Virginia Gallery: Queens
To celebrate the Diamond Jubillee of HRH Queen Elizabeth II, and to coincide with the national celebrations and extra Bank Holiday, we have asked 60 artists to submit one piece that responds to the title "Queens".
These 60 artists have interpreted the brief in imaginative ways - whether addressing the Queen, drag queens, chess pieces or something else - the results are sure to be surprising.
The launch takes place on Friday 25th May from 6.30pm and the exhibition runs until Saturday 23rd June.
Gallery opening times:
Tuesday - Saturday: 11am - 5.30pm
Closed Sunday & Monday
Viewing also available by appointment.
