Description
The Church of Saint Mungo is a stunning French Gothic style building by James Goldie. It is particularly notable for its beautiful stained glass, with nineteenth-century Munich windows by Mayer and a stunning twenty-first century composition by Glasgow artist Lorraine Lamond. Since 1865 the parish has been in the care of the Passionists; it is the only place in Glasgow's medieval centre where each morning, midday, and evening the Christian community gathers for prayer and worship.
