Named after a legendary salsa club in the bygone days when salsa was THE naughtiest thing in Britain, La Cheetah seeks to evoke something of that intensity. In a cosy but spacious basement, with a massive sound system and well stocked bar, the most on it promoters in Glasgow are delivering week in and week out the hottest parties with the hottest sounds the world has to offer. From techno to dubstep, from disco to italo, from northern soul to rock and roll and back again, with Burlesque performances and Sunday socials replete with record stalls and massages, the line up of events is staggering. But with Slabs of the Tabernacle, Inner City Acid, Scrabble, Banjax, Stay Plastic, Distortion, Loop, Velvet, Friday Street, Dolly Tartan, Jelly Roll Soul and Dario Bernardi involved, what else was going to happen?
